Submit Messages of Caring

As an addition to this year's festival, we are requesting Messages of Caring from children everywhere with nature based artwork.

A message of caring could include any "feel-good" message like the following:

~ Consider the feelings of others

~ Be caring to others

~ Smile and make someone happy

~ Just be nice

~ Remember your "please" and your "thank you"

~ Share with others

~ Be kind to animals

Decorate your message with nature based artwork like trees, sunshine, animals and so forth.

Card size is to be 8 1/2 inches long and 4 inches high. The front of your card is to include your nature-based artwork along with your message of caring. The back of your card should include your first name (or nickname), Town, State and/or Country (if you live outside the United States).

The United States Postal Service will be at the Festival this year on June 13, 2009 in official capacity to cancel your envelope and thank you card.

If you would like a First Day Cancellation from this year's Festival and a special Thank You card, please send a #10 self addressed, stamped envelope along with your Message of Caring to:

Messages of caring will be given out to each attendee at the Woodland Hobbit & Fairy Festival. The extra messages will be sent on to St. Jude's Children's Hospital as well as other locations around the world that care for sick children.
